Welcome, welcome, WELCOME…RSVLTS Pins!
While nearly everyone knew these were coming soon, RSVLTS is thrilled to officially announce the most pin-tastic news in a while: the full and complete introduction of the RSVLTS Trading Pins, the Pinsiders FB group and what’s ahead.
While not a debut by any means, considering that we’ve been slowly releasing and selling pins throughout the summer at various events, the full extent has yet to be presented and showcased. The goal is to introduce a new series of enamel pins each year, which will vary in size, depth and variety, including both unlicensed and licensed designs.
In fact, Series 1 includes 194 total unlicensed RSVLTS pins, 8 total D23 pins and 5 total commemorative Steve Gebhardt pins. All pins are limited edition and come in various types – commons, whales and grails – complete details and rarities further explained and shown within a dedicated website (currently Beta version; more below): https://daremightypins.com/
The limited edition pins will range from 1/1000 common designs down to 1/1 rare grails, including iridescent pins, and even 24ct gold plated grail pins, with even more incredible licensed and unlicensed items to follow.
Please note that to start, RSVLTS Pins will only be available to purchase at events and other occasions, such as the various Comic Cons, FanExpos, and other officially coordinated special events. That said, we recognize however that not everyone can travel to events near or far, so down the line a starter pack of select or randomized pins could appear online to be sold from time to time.
Furthermore, regarding the DareMightyPins site, similar to the trading card world, we want to have an ongoing database to keep all items cataloged and organized. Reminder again that the DareMightyPins website is currently running as a Beta version, so please bear with us as we continue to optimize often in real-time, as well as integrate further into some additional technology updates to be announced soon.
To provide a bit more background: the creation of the RSVLTS trading pins was the dream and passion project of Steve Gebhardt’s to get these into everyone’s hands, have people come together at events to collect and trade the various designs, to rip packs together and see the excitement when a rare pin was pulled, ultimately to start conversations about their favorite designs and perhaps make lasting friendships along the way.
We also want to introduce the first dedicated RSVLTS Pin Trading Event to take place at the NYCC booth next week. More details to follow on the specific date, time and location once all RSVLTS NYCC details are announced in advance of the show.
Additionally, the RSVLTS Pinsiders Facebook Group will be the official community forum for all things RSVLTS Pins, which will continue to grow over time.
Thank you all so much in advance for all the initial support – welcome again, RSVLTS Pins, let’s start collecting and trading!
